The Damping System Play "Test & Recognise" by "Seekae (Flume Re-Work)" to see this post. I shall lead or die trying to lead. I won't come back, you all have one chance. This one's my favorite song. This post is my favorite? Nah, Every post is otherwise it wouldn't exist this website. This contraption DOES NOT have anything to do with Commander Keen . The story is pretty much - Got an expensive desk + got a fancy 3D printer -> both didn't like each other and started fighting. So? I stepped in and fixed the fight. Made this damping system to completely stop the desk from wiggling around when the printer violently moved the axis'. My dad got two pieces of Saint Gobain 12mm glass for it. Looked crazy fancy, see the pictures they are amazing. And No, It doesn't affect the printer quality if you calibrate the vibration compensation and make sure ...
This one's short yet it took me a month to perfect.
This post is special. I made this flower lamp in a premonition of something.
This lamp was amazing! I made it during the coronavirus period, I bought a 3D printer right before the pandemic hit and it kept me company for a long time.
Back then I didn't have resources to get big bolts and stuff. So I made it all.

Here's a completely customizable lamp, you can color change and play with the settings to see how it looked in my room back then.
The Flower Desk Lamp 3D And Light Physics Simulated
I learned the bloom effects and blender lightening with
three.js
for this ahahahahha. Good Stuff!
It took me 2 weeks to make those CSS animations and layout for the R.G.B. and Incandescent Light Configuration Panel.
I had bought a few smart led bulbs for my room and didn't really find any use for it so I made this.
The flower lamp shade was a stroke of extreme boredom hence glorious on levels unimaginable. The lamp shade was only made for one bulb and for the other bulb, it was bare because it was used for my monitor glow effect.
There were so many different versions of the connecting rods, finally I chose the most elegant and simple one to print version.
Everything was designed to be printed in PETG.
The flower lamp shade was printed in 21 hrs very slowly to make sure the vibrations didn't ruin the wall.
It was beautiful!
The Desk Clamp, oh man that thing took 4 tries to perfect.
the threads were the problem, I finally did a curved edged triangle thread with a small pitch to ensure the threads were reliable.
It ended up pretty good.
The bulbs were wireless so I used to control them using my smartphone.
Except for the bulb holders everthing was printed.
Here's the files which I uploaded back in 2021 for you all to print this masterpiece:
